Unlike traditional ratchets this innovative strap tightens when you pull down significantly reducing the effort required to achieve a secure hold. An additional gear in the ratchet's construction allows you to pull the ratchet handle down using your arms and body weight eliminating the need to strain your back neck and shoulders by pushing up. This reduces the risk of injuries promotes better posture and ensures stable footing particularly crucial in adverse weather conditions such as icy or snowy environments.
