This retainer is an original part from jet. The metal retainer is compatible with several bandsaw devices. This component helps to secure the acme nut and button in the lead screw bracket.

Although this item is sold individually two retainers are needed. A screwdriver and a pair of pliers are helpful in making the replacement.
